CHICAGO STYLE.

This guide is based on the The Chicago Manual of Style 15th ed. rev. (University of Chicago Press, 2003). Examples are shown for both the Notes-Bibliography style of citation recommended for fine arts, history, literature, etc., as well as the Author-Date style used for the natural and social sciences. Reference List items are listed alphabetically at the end of the research paper. Items are referred to in the body of paper using the In-Text style.

Numbers in brackets [ ] refer to the section of the Chicago Manual of Style which describe the specific citation style. Consult these pages for more information.
