Welcome to my advisement
page.
On this page are
important dates and the ten easy steps every student must complete to
properly register for the next semester.
|
|
Registration for
Summer & Fall 2012 classes begins on:
|
 |
Thursday,
April 12 for December 2012 graduates |
|
 |
Monday,
April 16 for all other continuing students |
|
|
Here are the 10 easy steps to the registration
process:
- If you do not already have a copy, click on the appropriate link
below and print your Curriculum Worksheet .
- Go to the CCC Home
Page. Once there:
 | Under Fast Links, click on Student Portal
|
 | Enter the portal and then type in your CCC username and password
|
 | From the options on the left, under
Administrative Services, click on My Transcript
|
 | Print a copy of your unofficial
transcript
(midterm grades should be available
through the Student Portal by the
end of the March)
|
Update your Curriculum Worksheet to reflect all classes completed
by the end of the current semester.
If you are graduating at the end of the next semester we will
complete a Graduation Worksheet during
this advisement period. You can locate the graduation worksheet for
your degree on the College website using the following links:
Humanities
& Social Science Graduation Worksheet (Code: 201)
Math & Science Graduation Worksheet (Code: 220 and 220G)
During the last week in March, you should come to my office to
sign up for an appointment so we can meet regarding your schedule
for the next semester.
(A sign up sheet will be posted on my door.)
Go to the Registrar’s office to obtain a registration
card.
You may also want to pick up a hard copy of the Fall Master Course Schedule, if available.
- Check the online Master Course Schedule for class listings and
availability.
(Summer & Fall 2012 Course Schedules should be available by the
end of March.)
- Draft a schedule of courses that will work with
your educational goals and other factors in
your life.
- Bring your registration card and drafted schedule to our
appointment. Remember, you must meet with me because you need
my signature in order to register.
- Go to the Registrar’s office and register for classes on or
after the dates listed at the top of this page. The earlier you
register, the better your chance of getting the classes and times
you want!
It is your responsibility to see me for course schedule and/or
graduation sheet approval. I will have expanded hours for
approximately three weeks in
late March/early April, and then I will
go back to my normal office hours for the semester. It will be easiest to see
me during the expanded hours; please make every attempt to do so.
I am your advisor and I will help you in any way I
can; however, I
cannot take on your responsibilities. Please meet with me prior to the
official registration dates so you will be ready to register early and
get the best choice of classes. If you have any questions about the
registration process, please do not hesitate to call or email
me.
