Welcome to my advisement page.

On this page are important dates and the eight easy steps every student must complete to properly register for the next semester.

Priority Registration Start Dates for Enrolling in Fall 2018 classes

bullet

Thursday, April 6  for December 2017 graduates

bullet

Monday, April 10 for continuing students with 15 or more credits completed

bulletTuesday, April 11 for all other continuing and returning students

Here are the 8 easy steps to the registration process:

  1. Review the requirements for your degree program. Click on the appropriate link below and print a copy of your Degree Requirements Worksheet.
bullet Liberal Arts: Humanities & Social Science
bullet Liberal Arts: Math & Science
  1. Go to the CCC Home Page. Once there:
bulletAt the top right of the page, click on Student Portal
bulletEnter the portal and then type in your CCC username and password
bulletFrom the options on the left, under Administrative Services, click on My Transcript
bulletView your unofficial transcript and use this information to update your Degree Requirements Worksheet. Include all classes that will be completed by the end of the current semester.
bulletIf you receive a message indicating that you have a hold on your account, you will need to take care of the issue before you will be able to access your transcript or register for courses.
  2. In mid-March, you will receive an email from me instructing you how to sign up for an appointment regarding your schedule for FA-17. (The sign-up will be done online using SignUp Genius.)
  3. Check your midterm grades. Midterm grades should be available in the Student Portal by March 22, 2016.

  4. Check the online Master Course Schedule for class listings and availability. Fall 2017 Course Schedule should be available online by mid-March
Draft a schedule of courses that will work with your educational goals and other factors in your life.

  5. Bring your drafted schedule to your appointment. Remember, you must meet with me first because I need to enable your online registration access before you can register. I will enable your account after we meet to set up your course schedule.

  6. After we meet and your online registration has been enabled, you can go into your Student Portal and register for your FA-17 classes, on or after the date for which you are eligible (listed at the top of this page). The earlier you register, the better your chance of getting the classes and times you want!
  7. If you are graduating at the end of the next semester you will need to submit a copy of your Degree Requirements Worksheet to the Registrar's Office in advance order to qualify for priority registration (). We can take care of this during your advisement appointment.

It is your responsibility to see me for course schedule and/or graduation worksheet approval. I will have expanded hours for approximately three weeks in late early April, and then I will go back to my normal office hours for the semester. It will be easiest to see me during the expanded hours; please make every attempt to do so.

I am your advisor and I will help you in any way I can; however, I cannot take on your responsibilities. Please meet with me prior to the official registration dates so you will be ready to register early and get the best choice of classes. If you have any questions about the registration process, please do not hesitate to call or email me.
