Purchasing

We have state contracts through New York State Office of General Services for almost any needs for the labs.  What this means is that we no longer need 3 quotes or to send most things out for the two month long bid process.

However there is red tape, so please submit your requests for materials in writing or e-mail within 1 week of the lab date for items we have here, and  at least 3-4 weeks notice for items that I will need to order. 

I have developed web pages for each instructor and each course, that shows my information regarding their labs and allows them to submit new information using a fill in the blanks form.  I will e-mail each of you your links.  As usual you may use the pre-organized Science Lab Materials Form for your use, please print, photocopy and use one for each exercise.

 For Equipment type items (large $$) you need to plan ahead, this procedure is evolving and still requires a fair amount of time to purchase equipment.
