At times, I will assign articles from journals for you to read. To use MasterFile to locate these articles, you can use the following steps.
Access the College's homepage (www.clinton.edu) and click on Douglas Library. Go to Research Articles in the center column, and then find the database that you want to use such as MasterFile. Enter the information for your desired article (click on full text) and print. If lines of print are cut off at the ends, try printing as landscape.
1. Click on Internet Explorer.
2. Enter our college's email address: www.clinton.edu
3. At the left of the page, click on Douglas Library.
4. In the center column, click on Research Articles.
5. Find MasterFile
6. Click on full text.
7. Enter the necessary information. Click twice, if necessary.
8. Click on the title of the article.
Note: Other databases besides MasterFile can be accessed following steps one through four and then clicking on the name of the database, for example, Proquest. You also have access to many newspapers through the newspaper databases.
