CSC 220 Home

General Course Information:

During this class we will cover the basics of computer operating systems. First, we will start off with an intro to operating systems then we'll move into interfaces - both graphical and command line. After that, we'll learn how to install and use at least one distribution of an open-source Linux - probably Fedora. Then we will spend ample time on Windows XP Professional and wrap up the semester with a discussion on Malware.

General course info:

There will be one day section during the Spring 2010 semester. The class and all labs are held in room 127T.

I will be teaching the 01C section, we will meet on Monday and Wednesday from 2:15 - 3:30 PM.
